Michael Doyle – Founding Partner

Michael was called to the bar in 2001, after receiving a LL.B at Queen’s, an Honours B.A. at the University of Toronto, and articling at the boutique litigation firm Hughes, Amys LLP. He commenced practice in 2001 with Riley, McGivney Barristers. After five years as an associate in the litigation group at Aird & Berlis LLP, he was brought in by Tarion Warranty Corporation, the industry regulator and warranty administrator for new home construction. He spent almost a decade as Tarion’s Senior Counsel for difficult and complex disputes – homeowners, builders, purchasers and developers, all involved in Tarion’s myriad coverage and discipline decisions.

In 2017, he launched Doyle Advocacy – his private practice focused on commercial and real estate litigation, which has now culminated in Siskind Doyle LLP.
